Refund Policy

1. Scope
This Refund Policy governs refund requests for Session for Sports subscriptions purchased from JK.Creative LLC (“JK Creative”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a Washington State limited liability company. Session for Sports is software for multi-sport athletic facilities that support athletes, students, coaches, and parents across the sport(s) and programs your facility operates — including training programs, classes, lessons, camps, clinics, and similar offerings. By subscribing to Session for Sports you agree to this policy. Questions: support@jkcreative.store.
2. Free Trial
Every new account receives a 14-day free trial. No payment method is required to start a trial and no charge is made during the trial period. If you do not activate a paid plan before the trial ends, your account is downgraded to read-only — you will never be charged without explicit subscription activation.
3. Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions to Session for Sports are non-refundable, but you may cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@jkcreative.store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period. You retain access to paid features until that date, and no further charges will be made to your payment method.
No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a monthly billing period.
4. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a prorated 80% refund of the unused portion of the annual term if you request the refund within 30 calendar days of your initial annual payment.
The 20% retained covers payment-processing fees (which Square does not refund), account provisioning, and onboarding support.

Example: Facility tier paid annually at $7,560, refund requested on day 18 (347 days remaining) → refund = $7,560 × (347 / 365) × 0.80 ≈ $5,750.
After the 30-day window, annual plans are non-refundable but remain active through the end of the paid annual period. You may contact support to cancel auto-renewal at any time.
5. What Happens When a Refund Is Processed
- Your subscription is cancelled in Square and will not auto-renew.
- No further charges are made to your payment method.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing time is typically 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
- Your account is downgraded to read-only access for 30 days, then permanently deleted. During the read-only window you can export client records, session notes, schedules, and roster data via the export tools in your dashboard.
- If you wish to use Session for Sports again after a refund, you may purchase a new subscription at the then-current rate.
6. Lesson Package and Program Payments
Payments your facility collects from athletes, students, or parents for lesson packages, classes, camps, clinics, or similar offerings are processed directly through your facility's connected Square account. JK Creative does not hold or transfer these funds. Refunds for lesson packages, programs, or any offering your facility sells through the platform are the sole responsibility of your facility and are governed by your facility's own refund policy with its customers, not this policy.
7. How to Request a Refund
Email support@jkcreative.store with:
- Subject line: “Session for Sports Refund Request”
- The email address used for your Square purchase
- The date of your initial subscription payment
- Your facility name and subscription tier (Studio, Facility, or Complex)
- A brief description of the reason (optional, helps us improve)
We confirm receipt within 1 business day and process approved refunds within 3 business days.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us at support@jkcreative.store before initiating a chargeback — almost every situation can be resolved more quickly by email. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting support may result in permanent account suspension.
9. Auto-Renewal Disclosure
Subscriptions to Session for Sports automatically renew at the then-current rate at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless cancelled before the renewal date. This is an automatic renewal subscription as defined under Washington State law (RCW 19.230). You will receive a renewal confirmation email at the start of each billing cycle.
10. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights you may have under the Washington Consumer Protection Act (RCW 19.86) or other applicable consumer protection laws. Where this policy conflicts with a non-waivable statutory right under your state of residence, the statutory right controls.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes apply only to subscriptions activated or renewed after the effective date of the updated policy. Existing subscribers are grandfathered in on the policy in force at the time of their most recent renewal.
12. Governing Law
This policy and your subscription are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from this policy or your subscription will be resolved as set forth in the Terms of Service, including binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (with a 30-day opt-out and a small-claims exception). JK.Creative LLC is registered in Washington State; your statutory consumer protection rights under your state of residence are not waived by this clause.
